The mixer is made entirely of stainless steel 1.4301 and other non-rusting materials. Water is used as the temperature exchange medium for the double wall. The entire mixer stands on a platform to enable emptying through a bottom flap. A staircase with a personnel platform is mounted on the side for visual inspection. To protect the operator, the mixer is closed with a secure lid. A controlled geared motor from SEW is mounted directly on the shafts to drive the kneading shafts. A control panel is mounted on the mixer for operation; the circuitry is housed in a separate control cabinet.
