Description
The production line includes the following steps:
1. feeding station for cocoa nibs with a collecting silo and a vibrating chute
2. cleaning machine Bühler type MT
3. dry de-stoner Barth type LINUS DK 20/12A, complete with rotary valve.
4. gas roaster pre roaster BARTH type IR 1000 built in 2007
The IR was specially developed to optimize the pre-treatment of cocoa beans before dehulling. The infrared pre-treatment reduces the fines content to a minimum and ensures a maximum yield of raw cocoa nibs, even for beans with a high shell content. The use of infrared radiation enables fast and highly efficient pre-treatment of your cocoa beans. The flash vaporization of the cell moisture between the shells and the beans expands the shells and literally blows them off the surface of the beans. After pre-treatment, our downstream dehulling system can separate the shells easily and efficiently, offering you a maximum yield of cocoa nibs. The machine with the downstream silo and vibratory discharge to the downstream lifting conveyor leading to the crushing and cleaning machine.
5. crushing and cleaning machine Bauermeister type BR61 EH,
Capacity approx. 3000 kg/h, with a Bauermeister bucket elevator, approx. 6 m high, coming from the Barth pre-treatment plant. Fans and the reflex crusher are included.
