With a folding plunger the machine pulls a cardboard blank off the magazine which is mounted on the head. The folding plunger is assembled with suction cups that are provided with vacuum by a vacuum pump. At the same time, glue fingers are immersed into heated glue troughs, wetting the pre-determined points. The rotor performs a 90° rotation and both the glue fingers and the mazagine turn back to their original position. During this working cycle, the lift arm is moved towards the rotor and the blank is shaped around the folding plunger. With the corresponding size parts (not included) it is possible to close the brackets by fitting them into each other. With the next 90° rotation, the box reaches a static position to be then removed by the folding plunger through the ejecting station with the next 90° rotation.
