Description

The machine is set up for wrapping chocolate bars in a two-step process. A plate link conveyor leads the bars to the first wrapping station, whereby the aluminum foil is pulled from the reel for the inner wrap. The pulled foil is cut in length, the longitudinal seal being made as double fold and the front sides as zigzag fold. Just with a little effort the machine can be rearranged to perform "economical folds" saving about 20% of foil compared to the envelope wrapping. During the second working phase, a paper blank is pulled from a magazine for the external wrap and sealed in the form of an envelope wrap. If required, also a sleeve wrap is possible and with the corresponding special equipment the machine can run folding cartons as well.
