The machine forms a tube out of the packing material laying it around the product. The longitudinal seal is closed underneath the product by pairs of sealing rolls, whereby the extremes are also sealed by a pair of rotating sealing jaws and separated by a built-in knife
The product is fed into the machine by means of a feed belt, approx. 2m long.
