The machine for packaging carton-like products in a heat-sealable wrapping material, where the product is fed to the side of the machine via an infeed conveyor. The article is pushed through the film section and at the bottom the film ends are sealed by a sealing bar to form a tube and fed to the side folders. The protruding film ends are folded away here in "envelope" style and fixed to the sides with heat-sealing jaws. The continuous operating sequence ejects the carton from subsequent products. The machine is equipped with a thread station, adjustable format set and PLC control.
